Rimac Automobili is a technology powerhouse, manufacturing electric hypercars and providing full technology solutions to global automotive manufacturers. Our teams develop both hardware and software for the Concept_One, C_Two as well as for numerous public and confidential projects for global automotive manufacturers, thus positioning Rimac as a leader in the development and production of high-performance EV technologies.

The company is preparing to move to the next phase in its life – going from a technology company that provides global OEMs with low-volume and prototype systems, to a TIER-1 supplier of complex and critical systems to major OEMs. One of the major steps in the coming years is to conceive, develop, construct and commission a new R&D and production campus. Our goal is to build a campus that is not “just” an office and production building. We want to create something exceptional – a building integrated with nature, a beautiful place to work and spend time in, a place where some of the world’s best products are designed, engineered and made. That’s where you come into the picture – we are looking for a person who will make our new campus a reality and take care of all other real-estate related topics at Rimac Automobili.

1. Responsibilities

  • Responsibility for the overall project management including planning and execution of the future 50.000 m2 Rimac Campus and Production Plant.
  • Collecting all internal information from various teams as input to architects, construction companies, government bodies etc.
  • Overseeing all construction activities.
  • Drafting plans and holding all parties accountable against those plans.
  • Budget and cost responsibility.

2. Main tasks

  • Coordinate all construction related tasks between all stakeholders – internal departments (industrialisation for facility layout, HSE, HR, R&D etc.), external stakeholders (architects, contractors…) and government bodies
  • Lead the development of the new plant – gather input from internal departments on requirements (production line lay-out from Industrialisation Department, required office space from HR…), prepare a feasible plant layout and work with architects to come to project ready for execution
  • Create and follow budgets for projects
  • Make sure that all legal requirements are fulfilled
  • Bring in ideas to make our facilities the best possible place to work

3. Requirements

  • 10+ years of hands-on experience as a Project Manager in development and construction of large real-estate projects
  • Experience with all legal and regulatory processes to obtain construction permits
  • Experience with production plants is a plus
  • Experience with facility maintenance is a plus
  • Exemplary leadership, organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Results – oriented, strategic thinker and planner able to control multiple contractor deadlines & services, budget, costs and time
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
