We are now looking for a Vehicle Software Architecture Engineer who will help shape the character of our upcoming hypercars.

Working between distributed control and embedded software engineers, the candidate will be in touch with every car system. The workplace is very dynamic and will include many different and interesting tasks, from software architecture to supporting embedded software engineers through to commissioning - all the while having endless fun during vehicle testing at various testing grounds, tracks and races. You can expect to learn everything about the architecture of electric vehicles and experience first-hand how the fastest ones in existence works.

1. Responsibilities:

  • Software architecture design 
  • Developing control algorithm for a distributed system
  • Developing finite state machines for the handling of various vehicle subsystems

2. Main Work Tasks: 

  • Close collaboration with vehicle control systems engineers, electrical architecture engineers and embedded software engineers, creating control documentation
  • Testing and debugging systems behaviour in collaboration with embedded software engineers

3. Key Competencies: 

  • Experience in automotive industry
  • Experience in software architecture
  • Experience with distributed systems
  • Experience with UML activity and state machine diagrams
  • Handling all types of electrical signals and automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay...)
  • Bachelor or higher Degree (system control background, electrical engineering background)
  • Very good knowledge of English (written and spoken)
  • Creative problem solver
  • Highly analytical approach to work

4. Advantages:

  • Familiarity with FMEA
  • Familiarity with Functional Safety architecture (ISO26262)
